Learning outcomes of the curricular unit:
The curricular unit integrates the professional traineeship in community and hospital pharmacy and includes the traineeship report. This aims to:
- Allow direct contact of students with two important professional areas for pharmacist activity and its gradual integration into the future professional environment
- Provide the student an opportunity to integrate and apply the knowledge learned in the MICF in a real working environment
- Provide the student an opportunity to direct contact the patient, physicians and other health professionals
- To set an appropriate context to the preparation and public discussion of the monograph included in the internship report
Syllabus:
The degree of Master in Pharmaceutical Sciences integrates a training period in Community Pharmacy and Hospital Pharmacy, the public defense of its report that traineeship : supporting grid of the activities and skills acquired during the traineeship; a monograph on a professional topic, exclusive and specially made for this purpose and developed individually. With this, it is intended that the student proceed to the search of the state of knowledge and conflict of views on the subject area in question and not necessarily in the production of an original argument.
Before entering the training period, there will be an introductory seminar which aims to integrate the student in the traineeship that will be attend, strengthening methodologies for literature review to support the monograph to be submitted in the training period. During the training period, and into its schedule, seminars of mandatory presence will be held, on the premises of IUEM, on supplementary topics for preparation for entering the labor market.
